Our Evolution: SWOT Analysis
Strengths
Armed with deep knowledge of local services, we established a strong community partnership base. Our vetted staff with personal experience were ready to serve without spending heavily on recruitment.
We successfully achieved our Official UK Charity Registration (No: 1182648). Our "Helping Hands" project launched in 2023 has already started transitioning individuals from streets to mainstream society.
Weaknesses
As a new non-profit, we faced limited funding streams and restricted marketing opportunities due to a tight budget.
We have actively addressed this by expanding our digital presence, launching an engaging website, and establishing a dedicated volunteer marketing and fundraising team.
Opportunities
We identified great opportunities to bring in donations, particularly through access to the local lottery program for potential long-term funding.
Our opportunities have expanded globally. We have been selected for backing by the Aviva Community Fund and are actively building partnerships with local London councils and corporate sponsors.
Threats
Changes in government non-profit policies and the constant threat of funding withdrawal due to economic downturns (relying solely on donations) were major concerns.
While the national cost-of-living crisis continues to strain donor pockets, we are mitigating this threat by diversifying our income through JustGiving, Crowdfunder, and regular monthly subscriptions.
